Meet Bobo, the feline-dliest shop assistant ever!
After hearing the sad news that one of my favourite, and unique as it is entirely orientated around presents, gifts and trinkets for cat lovers!, shops on Kirkcaldy High Street in Fife, Scotland – Present Purrfections – is to close its doors on 15 October, I knew that this week’s Moggy of the Week should without a doubt be Bobo.
Bobo is a stray cat that was taken in and fed and looked after by shop owners in Chinatown in New York and has for the past nine years been the most diligent and friendly of shop assistants in the Big Apple.
One customer, a lawyer, even takes Bobo to the vets when needed.
Bobo is now nine years old and his care-giver Annie, who only came to work at the shop in 2014 but immediately fell for Bobo’s brass, said: “At the store, he likes to sit near the entrance and greet customers. He has his own scratcher lounge towards the front of the store and likes to sit there. He also likes to look out the window, a curious cat!”
“Bobo’s personality is calm and friendly. He is the only cat in the store. He’s the king of the store!
